*Choke* *gasp* *faint* Spectacular! I doubt to recieve any form of response, but I felt need to read this again, and when read again, a review is inevitable. Stunning in the full scope of *two* drabbles, it is breathtaking at how you can reveal so much to us of lesser minds, that I am surprised beyond measure that you did not win some placement on that Teitho! I read one of the first placers and was shocked— you deserved better.
"When you ask a mighty boon a small offering is fitting." It shakes my marrow and blood, it stirs the water of a mighty flood.
"ESTEL!" That is a true thought that sparks... hope. Are you sure you are not Elf-kind? (But is it not "gwador"? You did "guador" twice)

Humbled,
Elemmire

Author's Response:

Thanks Elemmire - these were the very first things I ever wrote. I had been reading the Teitho fics for awhile and when the drabble contest came out, I thought, "I will just try this - it's only 200 words - and if it doesn't work out I can slink back into the woodwork with no harm done." Little did I know that drabbles are the hardest thing to write! (at least for me)

To you I can say that the first drabble has a heavily relligious theme, which I'm sure you can catch easily. The idea of payment by blood, by one who loves and will sacrifice his life for his friend (Greater love hath no man...).

I'm shaking, it's so funny! I pulled up home to see if anyone was on naice a nilme, and you're name was up on the authers on here! I did a whoop and I just laughed and blinked back happy tears. I know this isn't a real review, but I'm flipping out all over the place. My reviews will be slowed, though, cuz my Ada wants me to write more of my own stories then review. But I only review yours... what's his problem with that?

Love the drabbles, keep it up.

(I had to make it a review)

Pentangle! Ai, I have waited so long to tell how much I love your writing, your creativity! I found you on Fanfiction and could not believe how lovely you were! These drabbles are sheer genius! "When you ask a mighty boon a small offering is fitting"

That is so amazing! How did you even come up with that? You take my breath away with how simple you make it appear, and how much you show with such few words! I am a flowery writer, and yet I do not hold such power, such image!

"Enough. I will bear as I must. And perhaps... Iluvatar, who loves all his children, will not seperate the first and second born forever." You are right. That is a beautiful thought for Elves and Men, and a good one coming from the right character. You can make me cry. I love your writing. The only reason I gave you one rating less than perfect was for two mistakes: one, the Sun is a She, and two, more importantly, was that one little word in the first drabble. You did not need to add that language. You have enough power in your words without. But please, keep writing!
