"‘Fine,’ he says!" Yeah, tha's what I was telling...

"Like talking to the pendulum on Bilbo’s clock," made me laugh despite the overal mood of the chapter.

I kept nodding to Gandalf through the whole chapter, as you made him reveal everything that the reader must be thinking by now, even the anger when Aragorn became unreasonable again. Good that he is there!

Author's Response: I'm glad you appreciated the humor ... I can't seem to write Gandalf without him getting a bit humorous; it just seems to be as much in his nature as wisdom and compassion. :)   And I think it does give the reader a bit of a moment to catch a breath before more plunges.  Gandalf definitely was a good spokesman for all of us here. Thanks for the review!

Most men would long have died by now. Gee, thank you Gandalf for that comforting thought! It seems, though, as if the adrenaline is finally spent and Aragorn's body has realized how bad it actually feels:)

Author's Response: You're right... it's gotten to the point where even Aragorn realizes things aren't "fine" by any means.  And Gandalf does know how to comfort, doesn't he! Thanks for the review!

Oh! This was very much worth the wait to read. Forgive the lateness in getting back to your wonderful story. I LOVE your Gandalf. I have to say he is a character I am VERY picky about how he is portrayed and you did a wonderful job. I love how Gandalf speaks of the entire situation and Aragorn being a piece of a greater picture. I think that is the thing I love most about Tolkien, so much is connected, and I think you've illustrated that beautifully here.

Oh my! Aragorn is in trouble again! You evil woman. :-) Now I can't resist reading on! Now I REALLY wonder what's happened to poor Aragorn!

Again, fabulous chapter. Each one seems to go from strength to strength.

Author's Response: Thank you, Roisin! I'm so glad you liked my take on Gandalf--I know he's one of your favorites. :)  He's definitely the one that sees the big picture as its unfolding, isn't he.  And yes, Aragorn's still very much in trouble.  Glad you enjoyed the chapter and thank for the review--and of course, read at your own pace.  I'm not standing by with a stopwatch, tapping my foot. *grin*

Please...one more chapter as an easter present? Please? Pretty Please? Pretty Please with cherries on top? *beg*

Author's Response: LOL... I'm sorry, but it'll have to be a day-after-Easter present.  I just won't have time this weekend to get the next one up.  But Monday morning, unless storms knock my Internet connection down.  I'm glad you're anxious to keep reading, though!  Thanks for the review. :)

More...want more^^

I love your story, it somehow seems more real than all the others.

Please hurry with writing the next chapter *plead, plead*?

Author's Response: Thank you, Turwaith!  I'm glad you find my story realistic... that is what I strive to do:  make a story vivid and detailed and plausible.  So to hear you say that makes me very glad. :)   And more will be coming Monday! :)
