When I saw the title (the mare's name), I guessed that the 'lady' would be a horse, and I was not disappointed :-). But I had not expected her resistance at first! Hehe... I liked it. She is a special 'lady', wants to be properly won over, and in the end Aragorn seemed to do it right (I wonder what he did?). |

O dear, my spelling there was horrible! I'm in an akward position, slipping down a pile of pillows and blankets, laptop eating my thighs, neck cranked sideways to see the screen straight on, and my poor shoulder numbing because of a table leg. My poor foot is falling asleep from being jammed against the loveseat so long... ow. It may sound weird and uncomfortable, but it isn't so bad. -Elemmire (And it is nice to see Aragorn be mastered, though I am not sure I like it from a dumb, over bearing horse)

Dumb horse. I would of given it a swift kick and screamed bloody murder at it. Treating Thorongil like that, you witless brute... (meaning Abrecan, not you Rhapsody!) I liked the introduction, (Theoden's part roughly written, I'm afriad) and the story seems over all belivable, but I dislike the horse. Very much. I'm afraid I'm gona have to kill your five stars on this, though!

*giggles* It's so rare that you have a story where Aragorn isn't master of everything from the first second on. It's was such a refreshing change to see him bested by a horse!
