Arra, I sincearly jealous! If I tried to write some thing like that it would turn out so very smarmy. I am at a loss for words with which to tell you how good your story was.

I loved "I am Elrondion. I have spilled my blood in defense of the Quendi." and the things pertaining to that phrase. It shows how very much in love with the elvinlife h was, and how it had aided in making him who he was.

*sigh* now I want to know how Elrond handled it.(hint, hint) I have soft spot for Elrond and Elros.

Arrggg!! That was beautiful! you hve knack for creating stories that are at once out of the ussual, but in perfict keeping with what Tolkien would have written. I love Legolas' love for Estel. My dad says true love is the willingness to sacrifice anything  for your loved one. All you charachters ar displaying that now, it is truely touching.

I agree with Elemmire; Tolkien is spinning with joy!

Author's Response:

Thanks so very much, Eleiel!

That one has an odd history. With a previous story, I had been taken to task by a reviewer for not using enough description. So I thought I would write a Teitho entry that was *all* description, thinking everyone would hate it! It was basically a writing exercise. But I now think it is one of my better stories. Writing is so weird!

I also enjoyed writing that everyone 'put one over' on the all-knowing Elrond. But I also like to think that when he found out he was understanding of Estel's and Estel's friends' need to have a connection with the boy when he left them.

Yes! *happy dance, a.k.a impersonating Tom Bombadil* Thank you! This was the bright, shining end to a stressful two days. I was banned from the computer (no I did not do something wrong!) for two days, save at night for half an hour, and tonight... YES! You responded!

Thank you so much! To call me a sweetheart proves beyond the shadow of a doubt you do not know me, but many thanks all the same. That review was like Tolkien telling me I inspired Arwen, Elwing, or Galadriel, or even Luthien, and saying I was his ego-boost. And I must say, you have already, subconciously maybe, found the "click" to every single, darn, little one of your writings. I bow to your brilliance and luminosity, hand over my heart. Such respect of your gift I cannot show you. Do you live in a ten mile radias of me? I'd walk just to see you for three minutes, then I'd walk back. ... wait, back? Whatever for? (I'm kidding... don't have a heartattack)

Your #1 fan,

P.S. This goes up with your other responses, I like it so!

*Claps crazily* It was purely magnifecent! The best stories, I think, are the ones that answer questions. It was beautiful. BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL! I love your writing so much! The ceremony was wondrous, and the jewel... Legolas, you *sure* you never did the like before? Pentangle, it is bewitchingly amazing, and enticingly entralling, and a wonder above all other fiction-written wonders! Your mind is tantalizing, ingenius, an endowment to anyone who happens upon you! If it were in my power, every person I meet or brush contact with would look at a story of yours- and this would be a fore runner! How he recieves his Ithilvir again, is... surprising, aye, but, it shakes me. It is so powerful! God bless you!

Author's Response:

Elemmire,  you are such a sweetheart. I would like to bottle you for the days I feel down and need a bit of an ego-boost.

I'm so happy you liked "Ceremonial". It began  just as an exercise in writing description, but I now think it is one of my better fics. What makes one fic 'click' and another not, is something I have yet to figure out!

I have been out of town (yes, again, but this time it was work related) and think I missed replying to a couple of your reviews. Please believe that I cherish every one.

O, how sadly sweet! I've read this on Fanfiction first, and fell in love with it. I think Tolkien is spinning with joy, and a little envy at not thinking of this first! I love all of your characters- the tenderness of Legolas, the humour in Erestor and Glorfindel, and yet the  touching-ness of their feelings, the fear and wrath of Aragorn, the funny rowdiness of the crowd... and the end is like "Wah? It stops?" I'm going to the next chapter with all speed!
