Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the beginning of this poem! It was written to say thank you to all the Aragorn-Legolas friendship writers and readers in one of my groups, so the technical aspects are not really that important to me - I quite like it the way it is. I'm not sure if I'll try more poems, I'm good at it in German, but writing poems in English makes me feel very insecure. It's quite a pity, since poems are a wonderful addition to LOTR stories - like in Pentangle's "The Minstrel to the War Has Gone". Thank you for reading and reviewing! Tinu :) |
