The end was sweet. Not overly well written, but still sweet. I have to wonder at why Rivendell had been cut off from Mirkwood. I doubt it would happen, but you're the author! (And I believe "The first [day of Legolas' visit] had been spent with Estel, and his adopted brothers, ..." is better said "The first had been spent with Estel and his adoptive brothers, ..." because 'Ro and Elladan were not adopted, rather Estel. Just trying to help) And the Trollshaws usually don't have a set number of trolls. And are you speaking of the trolls from the Hobbit? The Sun was what changed them. I liked it, don't get me wrong. I enjoyed the idea of it being family tradition. (Legolas is older than the twins, because they are hardly through two thousand years.) So, though it had its problems, I think the plot out weighed it. Good work. ~Elemmírë |
