I had forgotten how much I enjoyed your writing! It is truely a joy to read!

I really enjoy you take on Erestor, and it is easy to see the Aragorn of the books in this loving portrayal of Estel. I do have a question though; what is an ellon? Is it a celebration or a elf boy/knight-inshining-armor?

sometimes we must live with modern medicine,,,,but i agree estel might have helped lots......

Author's Response:

Thanks so much, Nancy, for your reviews of "Erestor and Estel". I have a lot of fun writing these, and I'm glad you enjoyed them. Thank you for leaving a review for each chapter!

wonder how many trips it took to find all those places.

LOL, and here I truly thought this little mishap was inspired by your own injury (and I suspected you had much fun with your pain medication *g*). Ironic, indeed...

But now you're back with us and since elves heal so quickly, Erestor will be up and abound soon, too. Estel is his usual self anyway. So everything is back to normal!

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review, Michelle. Yes, it is a *tad* ironic that I wrote this before I broke my wrist. Now I hesitate to write anything with too much bodily harm! Although the chances of my being flogged, attacked by orcs, or falling down a mountain (my area is flat as a pancake) is relatively slim.

O! I think I will die of laughing! I knew when I first read about the mishap, it was Erestor hurt, but then you convinced me tactfully otherwise! And then, well! It is Erestor! *pats hot cheeks* It's all so amazing! I never realized I missed your writing so much!

O no! Your poor wrist! Ai! That must be horrible... God bless!  And may He heal you quickly!

Author's Response:

Thank you, Elemmire. I am glad I fooled you a little, especially since you thought Erestor was the one that was hurt in the beginning.  I am very glad to be back, and wanted to tell you I will be posting the end of "Fidelis" early next week. Thanks for the good wishes - I am really doing much better now and will soon be entirely well.

I think that Erestor is now Estel's fond, but i wonder, is this relationship will effect between Elrond and Erestor or even Estel?

(Yes, i know that it was written for OAA, but bunnies knocking at the doorm so i just wondered...)

*Hugs and Kisses*

Have a great weekend and keep smiling,

Sivan Shemesh

Author's Response:

Thank you, Sivan, for the reviews of "Erestor and Estel".  I'm glad you enjoy the relationship between them, and I plan to write more about how their relationship effects the other elves in Imladris. There are many bunnies, but I am trying to only write chapters that fit the challenge prompt, so sometimes the bunnies must be forced into odd shapes!

Thank you again,

Pentangle

No wonder about the length, i mean how could you resist him or 'restor? LOL!

Love it, and this is in my fav.

Thank you for writing it, as i love what i read.

Somehow, laughing amidst the strain of breathtaking pity makes the tears and the smiles sweeter. The perfect proof of that is this: "The child was compassionate, after all, and Erestor had simply assumed his heart could not exclude Imladris's official curmudgeon without feeling guilty for doing so." Official curmudgeon? O! how brilliantly funny! You are so amazing in how you write, I cannot begin to guess the proper words. The beginning was a little vague, leaving a sense of wonder, and the middle was humourously extraordinary, and the end was tenderly... awe inspiring. You are a writer with a world so vast before you and within your mind, it is simply staggering.

That was purely fantastic! Above and beyond expectations! It is so wonderfully constructed, the writing is simply... *struggles for words to say* simply spectacular! Erestor is such a fun character to read about, and with you controlling the strings, it is beyond all power to say how great it is! Estel is as cute and sweet as ever, and Tinu is perfect! "Estel upped the ante with a barely audible sniffle." The scene, the flow, the characters... it leaves me begging for more! The well balanced humour and heartwarming is so well preformed! You are stellar, Pentangle, stellar!

Thanks, again, Elemmire!

My younger sister had an imaginary friend, so I'm very familiar with them :-)

O, bravo, bravo! It has been too long since I came here! And what a sight (or should I say site?) to see! This was a surprise to your usual plot lines, but it has your touching and keen insight brushed over it. I must say, excellent! Too short, only in the fact that I want more! I love how well you portray Erestor, and moulding the improbable friendship of the two! How do you come up with such marvels?

Author's Response:

Hi Elemmire - it's good to hear from you again! I'm glad you liked this chapter (if that's the right word, since each is a stand-alone only loosely connected by a theme) since it's my favorite of the three. I love how perceptive small children can be, seeing what the adults around them miss.

Oh, I love both of these! I love your "little Estel" stories, and I love your grumpy, yet soft hearted 'Restor. The fact that Estel is so perceptive, to see beneath the advisor's crusty exterior, is a trait that some children seem to naturally have, and I certainly think that Aragorn was one of those children.

I have enjoyed all your stories--Ceremonial, Mellyn? and the Buried stories are my favorites. I'd love to see you write a story following "Buried: Ascension," where Estel sets things straight again with Legolas, so the poor elf isn't eaten up with guilt.

Oh, and I adore your story "He was a Bra' Gallant." You write beautifully, and I really felt the connection between the ancient elf and Estel. (Besides, any story with Glorfindel in it is just fine with me. :-)

I don't know if the reply to reviews is working, but my email is agriessman@insightbb.com

I'm a writer myself, and while I've previously lacked the time to review your work as I should have, I'll try to make up for that now. Marvelous stuff. I can't think of one of your stories I didn't enjoy with great pleasure.
