*cheers erupt* Bravo! Bravo! Christian? I would have spent slightly more time on explaining Iluvatar than anything else, how indescribable He really is, instead of stalling bring Aragorn and Gimli into the picture. But still- bravo, dear sister! I would have liked Jesus, (though in my mind Eru could be Jesus), nay, I would have adored, but still... ! Beautiful... and so true. Not The End, but so as well. The Beginning of the Glorious. Aglar. Elemmire, Child of God, Redeemed through Christ
Author's Response: I never cease to be amazed at the number of Christians I meet through LOTR! God just won't let me run, will he? sigh. Yes...Christian...but not in church at the moment. Funny you should say you wanted more detail on Iluvatar...others said it was better to NOT have detail and I agree, for who can describe the indescribible? I found it more powerful to leave it unsaid...and personally, I think heaven will be many joyous reunions after the initial shock of seeing the Creator face to face. But I wasn't writing OUR ending, but the ending of Arda and the elves and specifically the end for the Three Hunters. (or the beginning? *grin*) This is fantasy, not reality and while I love the parallels, they are two separate things and should be kept that way, at least in my opinion. Still, I am very happy you enjoyed it anyway. Thanks for reviewing! I will check out that stanza again...did you change something in it? NiRi *cheers erupt* Bravo! Bravo! Christian?
