The story is off to a good start, but I must warn you, I am no fan of Legolas' Sea-longing. I have come up for a way for everyone whom I love to live on until Menelmacar's prophesy comes true. So saying, you must be lenient with me and my lack of enthusiasm, should there be. You seem more than a decent writer, and your story a good one even to that. As I am not one who dwells over Legolas' Sea-longing, I could not give any advice. Anyway, it looks well written to me. You seem to have a knack, and I will be hastening to the next chapter! I hope you are not ignored to much longer! This deserves more than I can give! Welcome to NaiceANilme! You must put up "I am of the House of Eorl" -- I thought it was a cute touch to the O.C. Challenge, if slightly predictable, to which I could show full appreciation! Elemmírë Forget not Menelmacar
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the nice review! I really appreciate it. I was wondering if anyone was reading. And thank you for reading even though you are not a fan of Legolas' sea longing. I happen to be a huge sea longing fan, so you must forgive the predictable nature of that part of my fics. This was actually my first story, and I can see it was extremely predictable. But it was still a lot of fun to write and got my foot in the door. I hope you enjoy this story despite the ever present sea longing. There is more than just sea longing at stake here, though it will play a very large part. I hold no grudge over lack of enthusiasm! You like what you like, I like what I like...I think it's nice you reviewed anyway! Thanks for the welcome. I am going to be putting most of my stories here (the ones that qualify anyway), including I am of the House of Eorl. thanks again for the review! Happy reading and writing. I will have to check out your stories as well as I am unfamiliar with Menelmacar and his prophesy! I only just started reading the Sil. NiRi |
