Thank you! I had a baby bunny for the same What If, but now I don't need to write it, because you said it all:) I like the caution between Aragorn and the hobbits, especially in the first chapter. They seem to circle each other, not really sure what to make of the other. And Aragorn seems to be terribly unused to company. He *likes* them, but he has no idea how to approach them. And then all the Nazgul angst? Perfect. His hovering between wanting to protect the hobbits and being called by the Ringwraiths. Chilling, truly chilling! And of course the stubborn ranger would manage to blame himself: They do not know that I nearly gave up my life. Oh, I am glad they do not know. But Estel, don't you see? It doesn't matter what you *almost* did. He did not give in and in the end, that's all that counts. Brilliant story, brilliant What if...!
Author's Response: Hi! Thank you!! I always look forward to reading your reviews; you have the ability to see all that in my stories what I want the reader to see, but I myself think to be lousy written. :o) I am glad you like my story, but go ahead! Write that bunny, we can never have enough What ifs... I would love to read it! :o) |
