I completely adore your story, the feelings described in there feel so real when you read it. I also like the irish blessing you put in there. It just fits in like it was always there. I think it would be just the thing the wood elves would sing, especially because they're so close to nature.

Author's Response:

Aww, thanks! I'm very glad you liked my story so much! I love Irish Blessings, and this one just seemed to be perfect for my story. It seemed to me like something wood-elves would sing, too. I'm happy you liked it! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! :)

I surely enjoyed that more than Legolas and Estel did :D

The funny thing is that I did some stupid things this week as well (including snow, it's really cold here) wich ended up with frozen fingers (and that hurts!) Anyway, I'm able to review so I think I had a lot more luck then Aragorn or Legolas. Poor things...

Author's Response:

Hi Emma! I'm very glad you enjoyed my story! ;-) I think winter is just the perfect time to read it. It's very cold here right now, too. I can imagine frozen fingers must be really painful! I hope your fingers will heal soon! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! :)

I have read this before... uh... a few times already, to be honest..., and now just again - and it never fails to touch me very deeply. You captured the emotions especially of Aragorn very well, and also the whole story is written in quite a beautiful language, beautiful at least to me. Also I liked the quotes you put at the beginning of each chapter, they fit in well I think.

... uhm..., and now I need to leave for the stable, and it is cold out there..., this was maybe not the perfect time to have read it... ;-)

Author's Response:

I very much hope I'll never be that late in replying to a review again - my computer decided to crash in December, moving turned out to be a lot more complicated than I thought, and when I finally had a new computer I didn't have an internet connection for months. Anyway, on to the important things - I'm very glad that my story touched you so deeply, and that you still keep re-reading it! I really enjoyed looking for fitting quotes for each chapter, it's good to know you like them, too. :) All the emotions made the story extremely difficult to write, so I'm happy to hear you think I wrote them well. LOL, I hope the story did not make you feel too cold! Thank you so much for your review! :)

That was amazing. Absolutelu amazing. Of course, it ended too soon for my liking...but I guess I'll survive.

Author's Response:

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed this story as well! :) I actually agree with you - there are many things in this story that could need some wrapping up. Perhaps I should think about an epilogue. ;-) Thank you very much for reading and reviewing so many of my stories, it means a lot to me! :)

awww happy endings.  Just love happy endings.  I imagine you would feel quite tired after all that but i knew you couldn't kill him.

Could you?

Don't want to condemn middle earth now do we?  If he dies now then all sorts of terrible things would happen.  Not to mention Thranduil's rath.  *shudders*

Oh the terror.

I'm just glad they are all safely tucked up in rivendell and happy and together again.  Hated seeing their family so broken. That would not be fair now would it.  Must be awful losing Arwen to mortallity though.  Especially after losing Elros to it and then his wife to the Grey Havens!!  How did he manage not to fade?  I think it'd be his children.

Planning to write anymore stories soon?  You really are quite good.  I was throroughly gripped.  I sure was!!

Tash xxx

Author's Response:

I love happy endings, too. :) I'm the kind of person who needs a heap of tissues for character death fics - well, I usually avoid them. I don't think I could have killed him off, I really like my characters. *huggles elf and ranger*

I guess the only one who would have been happy is Sauron. ;-)

I really like Elrond, so he had to redeem himself somehow. They all just had to get it into their stubborn heads that they really love each other. I liked it to see them all together again, too. I think his children could very well be the reason that Elrond has not faded in spite of everything.

I'm currently writing on several short and some long stories, I guess the short ones will be posted first, perhaps as a kind of collection. I'm really glad you like my writing and my stories! :) Thank you for all your reviews!

WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM!!! CAN HE NOT SEE SENSE?????  Does he not know that Legolas only wanted what's best for him.  preferebly alive??  I know things were difficult between Elrond and he but come on.  Men feel the cold and will die from it if they're not careful.

Stupid mortal.

ELVES RULE!!

Author's Response: People tend not to see sense when they are hurt. ;-) Once he felt that Legolas had "betrayed" him by proposing to go to Rivendell Aragorn did not really listen any longer but interpreted everything Legolas said as an attack on him. He had to deal with too many old wounds and dark memories to be able to see reason at that point. I can understand him, though he acted completely wrong and hurt Legolas deeply with his words. Well, he will come to rue it dearly. ;-) Thank you for reading and reviewing another of my stories! :)
