I thought I reviewed this at the angst list but just realized I hadn't. This was a very gripping read! I'm reading at school in the lounge where it is anything but quiet and I wasn't aware of anything but your story! The cold was absolutely penetrating - I don't think I'll be warm all day! The details of the chase were fantastic, you can feel their exhaustion and fear. And at the end, a last second reprieve! I really enjoyed it.
