A lovely story, and well-read on the whole. The music added a lot to the reading, the extra time it must have taken to add it, was well spent.

If I were to offer one advice, though, it would be to slow down a little bit. Not much, but at times I had trouble following. It is much harder to understand when I can't see the speaker, and even LR reading tend to come out a little too stressed. It is not a big problem, but it is something that can be improved.

This made my bike ride to work much more pleasent. People kept staring as I chuckled and smiled at the story. Hearing the words read out loud made everything so much better.

Nice work!

Listened to it today and loved it (again - though, listening and reading are two different things, so it was basically exploring this story anew). I could basically hear how much fun you had:)

And "hearing" Aragorn and Legolas argue was even more entertaining than just reading about it. I was chuckling for most of the 45 minutes.

Great!!! - Doing a happy dance for finding a LOTR-Podfic here - and then such a lovely one at that. Listened to most of it yesterday and will finish it later, and I have to say you did a great job. I love the story, and I love that I can listen to it.

I think you captured Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas quite well. Often I really could see the scenes you described as if they were playing out in front of my eyes.

Hope you'll write - and read - more stories!
