Really excellent story - the sort that you just can't stop separate from, not for a second, until you reach the end. You got one of my votes.

This is a wonderful story! It portrays a canon-Thorongil, and I love the way you built up the fear and mysticism surrounding Minas Tirith for the Haradians. I cannot say I love your portrayal of Ecthelion and his cruelty, even as a politician in times of war, I cannot believe he would have been so cruel; he came across more like Denethor. But, perhaps that is simply another way of looking at him! It's still a story which I will be rereading! There are not as many good Thorongil stories in the world as there should be!
