I really liked that "clash of cultures", especially the ambassador's flowery way of speaking. That sounded very elaborate and visual - a very good contrast to Aragorn, who usually is more matter of fact.
And the underlying morale that being a scholar can be just as important as being a warrior, that's one I'll readily subscribe to!
