That was simply beautiful. Your prose makes me want to read on and on, because even more than the insight into Aragorn's thoughts, I enjoyed the lyrical way in which you put his thoughts into words. And to end on a totally happy note, with the words "I am truly, fully, unashamedly happy". That made me smile widely!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I think that Aragorn was also a poet when he wanted to - Bilbo asked him for help with the verses about Eärendil, after all - so this lyrical way seems proper for expressing his thoughts to me. And he really deserves the happiness, doeasn't he? =) |
