I'm wandering through the archive this afternoon, looking for stories featuring Legolas, and this one came up.
I had a good chuckle over this. The quartet sounded much more like a gruop of teenagers than - at the very least - centuries old elves. At least two of whom should have known better! And I could SO picture Elrond waiting at the bottom of the stairs, arms folded, foot tapping as they bruoght home his youngest - wounded again!
A cute, fun story. |

This is a lovely vignette, Cal. I love the way they interact with each other. It's all very believable. If I was to nitpick, I'd have put a divider between the part where the others are worried about Elrond's reaction and the shift to his point of view, but that's only a matter of opinion. It works perfectly well as it is. I'm adding you to my author favourites. |

Hi! I really like this little ficlet. I think you pictures a scene we have all read numerous times perfectly! Very well written!
Author's Response: Like Michelle said, it's a "classic situation for our dynamic four." I do believe I won't ever tire of it.
Glad you thought so. :)

LOL. This is such a classic situation for our dynamic four. You could easily insert it into any given angst fic and no one would notive *giggles madly*. And just for the record: I'm sure nothing of this was Aragorn's fault. He *is* infallible!
Author's Response: *grins* Indeed, who would notice? We whole-leartedly believe it's not Aragorn's fault, yet no one seems to believe him. Poor ranger. *grins*
Thanks for the review!
