I love this. I like stories concentrating also(or mainly) on Elrond's thoughts. The last part felt real good to me, the part where Elrond realises that he still loves Estel/Aragorn, even if he marries Arwen. There are lots of stories that either forget Arwen entirely and make it a goodbye-scene between father and son or they let Elrond basically like Aragorn less for "taking Arwen from him". So I think your story just makes it feel right. Please continue writing stuff like this. |
