This was a very moving poem. As Elrond once said, the Gift of the One to Men would be hard for Arwen to accept. I liked everything about this poem: the imagery, the flow of the words, and the emotional impact. Very well written, and a very good portrayal of how she must have felt.

It really does not matter how long ago I read this poem, the gentle cadence and the bitter-sweet memories speaks volumes to the stillness of Arwen. I can't still help to think that this poem should go with the moment in the movies where she stands at Aragorn's tomb. A small gem and a great addition to this site.
