I liked this story very much. You managed to write a solid criminal story into the universe and worked out the characters well. I read most of your other stories and delight in your account of the relationship of Aragorn and Faramir, not the least in the angsty stories. So I wish for more stories of how it was like for them before they became friends, just like you did here (maybe a bit more angsty *g*) Thank you for writing!

Ha! I knew he would make Aragorn a chair. And for someone who has basically an office job, it's quite important to have an ergonomically correct chair. Wouldn't want the poor king to get backaches:)

What a nice little whodunit - or whodunitnot in this case. It was a little case study for Aragorn to show him what he can and cannot do as king and how Gondor's traditions would be different from what he's used to.

And cookie points for Ioreth. Every story including her is a winner in my book. You made her chatter wonderfully, while at the same time showing her caring side and gentle manner as well.

Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm delighted you enjoyed the story. Unfortunately Denethor's chair appears to have ended up in a local restaurant and I had the misfortune to sit upon it! I love Ioreth too and was glad of a chance to bring her into the story.
