Ah, classic h/c with lots of ranger angst. Exactly my cup of tea! At apart from a "how Aragorn and Legolas met" this is the next best thing: How they actually became friends. They're being civil with each other at the beginning - but you just feel that something is missing. And then it slowly slides into true care on Legolas' part.
And: I loved Legolas' longwinded speech. He's very elaborate, our elf!
