Beautiful! I love how you worked in the part of the sword, it opens up the possabilities... does my paintbrush also fit my fingers in that way? It opens up a world of Wonder. Quite lovely!

Such an interesting story.  Just - cool.  Stylistically interesting, a really nifty story, and I love the 'relationship' bits you put in (both with sword and with family).

Overall, just plain cool, and a really interesting idea.

Yahell is being evil and NOT sending me all my mail. So I didn't get this story via AA *shrugs*...

Even if I didn't have the luxury of knowing beforehand who wrote what for the challenge, I could always tell your story from the rest. And it's only partly the fact that you managed to include your usual adorable young!Estel and a protective Elrond. And it doesn't have anything to do with Glor'n'Stor being their usual bickering selves. It's simply the fact that I read the first two paragraphs and am drawn right in. I feel like I've known these characters my whole life - and I know it's your story:)

The POV was amazing. I mean, we've all heard of the fact that warriors or soldiers would personalize their weapons. I admit to naming my car and my computer, firmly believing that they work better this way. But then to go and write a story from a sword's perspective - that is still quite a leap! And I enjoyed it so much!
