An evil little stories. It started out so, well, comfortably - with a little treasure hunt. All in good fun (even if there's a body *g*). But then you managed to turn the story around and make it all incredibly angsty - I hadn't expected that. To have your friend turn against you must be the worst betrayal there is, even if it wasn't Legolas' fault but the Witch King's!
Author's Response: Yes, I did manage to take a pleasant little 'treasure hunt' and turn it into something quite nasty. I didn't think anyone would see that coming. I especially didn't think anyone would have any idea the Witch King would show up. rnrnI can only imagine how horrible it would be for Aragorn not only to experience his best friend trying to kill him but also to witness him so thoroughly turned to the dark side. |
