Dear Silvan: It figures that Middle-earth would have an eagle bring babies instead of a stork! The last sentence seems a bit strange, though. Why should King Elessar be in tears? And apparently Eldarion already has a sibling, it just isn't born quite yet. It also seems strange that King Elessar would wait until the baby was almost born before telling Eldarion about it.
