The embroidered drawers are a nice touch! I know my father has a whole set of bedclothes and towels where his initials are embroidered. Nowadays it's something of the past, but even so not too long ago it was common practice... By the way, you're evil to stay with Faramir's POV all the time. (Yes, yes, I understand all about tension and wanting to have the reader at the edge of his seat). But I'd love to have a glimpse of Aragorn - first hand, since Faramir refuses to believe he's still alive. I think though, that Arwen will make him see sense soon:)
