Loss Nim by Aragornwriter [0 ] Loss-Nim (Snow-White) This story is written for the “A Fairy Tale: Middle-Earth Style” challenge on Mellon Chronicles. The origins of this tale lie in a summary I found on the Internet of the classic Snow-White story as we know it. As this introduction suggests, this is my Middle-Earth adaptation of it. In order to make this work, I made a lot of changes throughout Middle-Earth’s history, starting with what really happened after Sauron lost the Ring. Therefore you could call this story AU with many of the characters as we know them. Only, their history will have changed. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! Starring: Arwen as Snow-White, Galadriel as the Dark Queen, Aragorn as The Prince, the Elves as the Dwarves, Gimli as himself and many other familiar or original characters. Rating: K+ Story: Once upon a time in midwinter, a young Elf was brutally taken from her world of Lóthlorien by her wicked grandmother and ends up miles away in another world called Rivendell. And then a fairy tale starts … Type: This is not a comedy but a dark fairy tale with (hopefully) now and then a bit of humor in it. As it is based on ‘Snow-White’ this story is written as a fairy tale and might therefore read a bit differently than you are used to from a Middle-Earth story.
