I am a Christian LotR lover. I've been writing Fanfiction for a little over a year now, so fairly new to the whole thing, but I have been reading the books for many years! I am a book-canon lover, NO MOVIE-VERSE! I do enjoy the movies, but only as an AU representation. Most of my stories center around Legolas and his interaction with the Fellowship, both during, and post-WotR. I also write Aragorn-as-king stories.

I'm slowly working on posting my stories. (I have tons written, but most of them are not typed as of yet...)

I'm slowly teaching myself Sindarin, so my stories contain lots of Elvish dialogue. I try to include translations, but if I forget, you can review and remind me! ;P

My pen-name is Tauriel, and I have an OFC named Tauriel. My Tauriel is not the "Tauriel" of Peter Jackson's Hobbit movie. They are in no way related, and PJ stole my name!

I have some things which I believe about Tolkien's universe, which may seem rather strange.
1. I believe that Elves are the same height as men, NOT taller.
2. I believe that the Arkenstone of Thrain may have been the Silmaril of Maedhros.
3. I believe that LotR is allegorical. Even if Tolkien did not intend to write an allegorical book, you cannot deny that in such a devout man as Tolkien, it is not very surprising to find large amounts of Christian allegory.
(Yes, I wrote the word Christian. I am a Christian myself. If you have a problem with that, don't read my stories! Although, if you have a problem with the fact that I am a Christian and do not wish to read my stories because of this, why are you reading LotR?)
I hope that you enjoy my stories!

Galu bo le, (look up the translation yourself! I recommend the Hiswelókës Sindarin Dictionary.)

This is a wonderful story! It portrays a canon-Thorongil, and I love the way you built up the fear and mysticism surrounding Minas Tirith for the Haradians. I cannot say I love your portrayal of Ecthelion and his cruelty, even as a politician in times of war, I cannot believe he would have been so cruel; he came across more like Denethor. But, perhaps that is simply another way of looking at him! It's still a story which I will be rereading! There are not as many good Thorongil stories in the world as there should be!

Galu,
