What fun! Lady birds light as butterfly wings and granite for dinner - who could ask for more. Because I now have a face to put to Thorin, I could see this little story unfolding in my mind perfectly.
I loved Thorin's initial reticence and the gradual warming to this bright, inquisitive lad who obviously hungers for knowledge.
