A delightful yet heart-rending tale.  I love the Elven version of This Little Horsey; and the Peredhil/little Aragorn interaction.  Babies and toddlers are very cute, it's hard not to melt when a happy one is in one's lap and laughing.

And the ending is wonderful.

Author's Response: Thank you, Raksha!  I'm glad you liked this.  It really is hard to keep a hard heart around truly happy little ones, especially if, as I see Estel as a baby, one that's as special as he was.  I like the idea of his arrival having a big impact on the brothers, so this was fun to explore.  Thanks for the review!

Oh my, what a touching story. I find I can relate to Elladan a lot - a frightening thought, that... but honestly, he had a point about the messiness often involved in handling babies ;-). I like how different you portray the two Peredhil. They are obviously close and love each other dearly, but they are not the same person. That makes them more real to me. Thanks for posting this story.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Amarok!  I'm glad you liked this ... and glad you liked that I made Elladan and Elrohir unique.  Not that I've known a lot of identical twins, but the ones I have known were very much each their own person, even though they had so many similarities (and of course that bond that only twins have).  The Peredhil are so fascinating to me, and those two in particular.  Glad you liked this, and thank you for leaving a review! :)
