What is the tinyMCE WYSWYG editor?

WYSWYG means "What you see is what you get". A WYSWYG editor gives you the option of entering and editing a text much like you would do in your normal program (something like Word). Especially if you don't have any html knowledge, this option will appeal to you.

You can switch TinyMCE on or off in your Preferences.If you are using TinyMCE, your text boxes will look like this:

If you decide to not use TinyMCE, your text boxes will look like this. To format your story, you will have to use html. The following tagsare allowed:

<a> <b> <i> <u> <center> <hr> <p> <br /> <br> <blockquote> <ol> <ul> <li> <img> <strong> <em>

Please be aware that setting the TinyMCE preferences will affect the behaviour of all text boxes on the site. Likewise, you can always choose to toggle TinyMCE on or off.
